About

A student institution, not just a club.

GDG Babcock is the Google Developer Group on campus at Babcock University — officially affiliated with Google Developer Groups worldwide. That affiliation gives our community direct access to Google technologies, developer resources, and the global GDG network. Beyond that, we run events, teach students to build, and ship products like BabcockVotes and RADAR — with leadership that changes hands every year.

Learning

Workshops, study jams, and hands-on programs that take you from your first line of code to shipping real products.

Innovation

We build products people use — BabcockVotes, RADAR, Babcock 100 — and keep them running.

Visibility

The 100 names the year's most active builders, and RADAR publishes their work.

Continuity

Structured leadership, yearly team archives, and a shared member profile so the institution outlives any one cohort.

Our year

Programs worth marking your calendar for.

Every semester has its flagship, every month its touchpoint, and the year closes on recognition.

First semester

ORBIT

Our flagship initiative opens the year — talks, demos, workshops, and community.

All year long

MEETUPS + RADAR

Monthly meetups keep the community close; RADAR publishes what's next the whole way through.

Second semester

BUILD WITH AI

GDG Week — a concentrated week of daily, hands-on AI workshops to close out the term.

Year end

BABCOCK 100

We recognize the 100 most active builders of the year on babcock100.com.

What membership means.

Becoming a member gives you one profile across the whole ecosystem — your track group chats, the events you attend, the certificates you earn, and eventually your personal Wrapped. It's how we keep track of your journey and how the institution keeps its memory.
